The potential of 90.000 people in la Region du Sahel of Burkina Faso unlocked with MAMA-LIGHT

H.R.H. Princess Abze Djigma donated 18.000 MAMA-LIGHT solar lamps to the government of Burkina Faso, who used the lamps to launch the PADEL in La Region du Sahel in Burkina Faso. With these lamps the potential of 90.000 people has been unlocked.

About the PADEL

More than 40% of Burkinabe live below the poverty line. To change this, the Burkinabè government decided to implement the Local Economic Development Support Program (PADEL). The objective of this program is to promote the emergence of local, inclusive, dynamic and competitive economies that can bring about economic and social growth throughout the country.
