This year the annual Climate Conference, COP24, was organized in Katowice, the heart of the Polish mining industry. At the conference, Governments have adopted a robust set of guidelines for implementing the landmark 2015 Paris Climate Change Agreement. The implementation of the agreement will benefit people from all walks of life, especially the most vulnerable. The agreed ‘Katowice Climate Package’ is designed to operationalize the climate change regime contained in the Paris Agreement. H.R.H. Princess Abze Djigma was the deputy head of the delegation of Burkina Faso. Next to many formal and informal meetings she participated in the following formal sessions and roundtables.
