H.R.H. Princess Abze Djigma was one of the speakers at the Caring for Climate High-Level Event at COP25, December 2019 in Madrid
Caring for Climate mobilizes business leaders to implement and recommend solutions and policies to beat climate change. It was launched in 2007 and is convened by the UN Global Compact, the secretariat of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), and the UN Environment Programme (UNEP).
This year the gathering built on the political momentum of the UN Climate Action Summit and draw on the achievements thus far of the “Business Ambition for 1.5°C – Our Only Future” campaign and the “UN Asset-owner Alliance”.
H.R.H. Princess Abze Djigma gave concrete examples Africa businesses are doing in the ECOWAS region within WASP/ECREEE.
